Rihanna Beaten By Chris Brown; Felony Battery LAPD Arrest: Breezy Exits Jail After Posting $50K Bail
Chris Brown and girlfriend Rihanna were due to perform at Sunday's Grammy Awards show in Los Angeles, but instead, canceled after she and Brown got into an argument early in the day. The pair was allegedly inside a vehicle near the Hancock Park area of L.A. sometime early afternoon, Feb 8. 2009, when an argument escalated into physical action, leaving Rihanna bruised in the face and body while Chris fled the scene. Cops arrived to a battered Rihanna who identified Mr. Brown as her attacker. Under much scrutiny, Brown later turned himself into a local LAPD station, and was booked for felony battery.
