Bruce Forsyth has been struck down with a bout of flu that will keep him bed-bound this Saturday, well away from the Strictly Come Dancing studio. The 82-year-old's condition has become so bad that it was decided he would not be able to front the show. Instead, it is believed co-presenter Tess Daly will take his place while another celebrity face is brought in to replace her backstage. Early front-runners are Claudia Winkelman, Graham Norton and Paul O'Grady though the BBC are yet to confirm the replacement. As the weekend show gets closer the dancers prepare for yet another live performance as they go into week nine Ricky Groves and his partner Erin Boag sent their best wishes to Bruce on Friday but are themselves looking forward to performing the Viennese Waltz this weekend. Ricky and Phil Tufnell have been marked out as the entertainers left in the show, and former EastEnder Groves believes that charisma and not necessarily talent could see him and Erin go all the way to the final.
