Britney Spears' mother Lynne has reportedly accused the singer's on-off manager of drugging her in a court document. The claim is allegedly one of the reasons Lynne applied for and was granted a restraining order against Sam Lutfi - the star's self-proclaimed confidant - last week. The order against the 33-year-old was based on a lengthy declaration from the star's mother, who says they met in October 2007, when he "essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances."Lutfi is now banned from coming within 250 yards of the troubled star, her LA home, her family members or the hospital she is staying in since being admitted for psychiatric evaluation.Lynne Spears' account of a long, chaotic night at Britney's home depicted a drugged and confused pop star being led around by Lutfi, who was setting up pictures for the paparazzi even as she was spinning out of control. Her declaration also claims that Lutfi "drugged Britney, he has cut Britney's home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything - Britney's business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate."Lynne Spears described various medications in the house and said Lutfi told her he ground them up and put them in Britney's food to keep her quiet. "He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain."But Lutfi denies Lynne's allegations, claiming that he has supported Britney and kept her off drugs as she battles for custody of her kids.Lynne's six-page statement outlines Britney's movements on the night of January 28, just a few days before Spears was dramatically whisked away to UCLA Medical Centre in an ambulance amid a paparazzi frenzy for a 72-hour mental evaluation. Her stay has since been extended to two weeks. In the document Lynne Spears describes the singer's increasingly bizarre behaviour and said her daughter asked at one point, "When do I get to see my babies?"Lynne Spears also said there were several photographers present at the house who "reported" to Lutfi, "treating him like a general."Because of Britney's erratic behaviour, the singer's father Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallete have been granted temporary control of her assets, including her LA mansion. The child custody battle between the Grammy-winning pop star and her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, has been put on hold until her mental issues can be resolved.© Independent Television News Limited 2008.
