PROPERTY: Repossessions will rise as homeowners struggle with mortgage repayments says Council of Mortgage Lenders

The Council of Mortgage Lenders say the number of people forced out of their homes by repossession orders will go up by fifty percent, to levels not seen since the early 1990s. There are also other statistics that suggest the housing market is facing a bleak new year. Mortgage lending is heading down because of the credit crunch, sales will fall and prices will not rise much.
