Prestigious premiere for Batman duo

Christian Bale and Michael Caine have reunited for the premiere of their new film The Prestige.The stars of Batman Begins have once again been directed by Christopher Nolan for the tale of murder and magic set in turn-of-the-century London.Bale and Australian actor Hugh Jackman play rival conjurers while Caine is an old master watching over the battle.Jackman said: "There are three parts to a magic trick, the Pledge where you promise to cut a woman in half, the Turn, where you cut the woman in half, and the Prestige, where the woman comes back together."In our movie, the Prestige is in the movie itself, the greatest magic trick is performed by the director and the scripts. There is a twist at the end but no-one is going to get it."The Prestige, which also stars Scarlett Johansson and David Bowie, opens here on November 10.
