President Abbas calls for Palestinian reconciliation -5Jun08

Palestinians are welcoming a new proposal to heal their internal wounds. A year since Hamas gunmen sent Fatah fighters fleeing Gaza in a deadly shooting spree, the Palestinian President wants to end the isolation of Hamas. Mahmoud Abbas is calling for a national unity government - and Hamas is welcoming his invitation. Al Jazeera's Nour Odeh reports from Ramallah on the plans for dialogue and Palestinian reconciliation.
