The young stars of the Harry Potter movies have been quizzed on their reaction to the news Dumbledore is gay.Author JK Rowling recently revealed the truth about the elderly headmaster's sexuality while speaking in New York.She explained that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he defeated long ago in a battle between good and bad wizards.The revelation was greeted with gasps, then applause.And it was also a surprise to actors Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint - who have played Harry and Ron in all five films.But Emma Watson, who plays Hermione, seemed to take it in her stride, saying "it makes sense".Deathly Hallows broke sales records as the fastest-selling book ever, selling more than 11 million copies in the first 24 hours following its release.The fifth film adaptation of the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was released this summer.
