Positive Pistorius

Positive Pistorius

South African athlete Oscar Pistorius is still optimistic he can be cleared to compete in the Beijing Olympics later this year. The double amputee sprinter is set to hear within the next three weeks whether he can compete in Beijing. The South African's two-day appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne finished last week.He had been banned from able-bodied athletics by the sport's governing body the IAAF in January. It claimed the 21-year-old's prosthetic limbs give him an unfair advantage.
