'Staying together is always better' the message Tony Blair had today for voters in Scotland. Campaigning as Prime Minister in his last elections he told a conference in Glasgow that leaving the UK would be seriously damaging. That's a measure of how worried he is about the threat from the Scottish Nationalists. They're ahead in the polls and promising a referendum on independence from the UK.
