POLITICS / TERRORISM: Government deny asking lecturers to 'spy' on Muslim students

The government is trying to play down suggestions in a leaked document, that it is going to ask University lecturers to spy on students they suspect are involved with radical Muslim groups. Universities and students have already reacted angrily to the information, some comparing it to Senator McCarthy's anti-communist witch hunts in America in the 1950s.
