POLITICS: Questions raised over Conservative Party funding from company with unethical links

They've pledged to show compassion and galvanise international action about the situation in Darfur - but David Cameron's Conservative party is taking money from a company with links to the war torn region. Fidelity investments has donated more than a hundred thousand pounds to Tory coffers. It's American wing has a stake in the oil firm PetroChina - whose parent company CNPC is a big investor in the oil fields of Sudan. Not only that - CNPC has teamed up with the Sudanese Government to control an oil field in Southern Darfur.
