POLITICS: Immigration: John Reid proposes 'uniformed border control force'

The Home Secretary has announced that he wants a "uniformed border-control force" to tackle illegal immigration at UK airports. The idea is part of a shake up of the troubled Immigration and Nationality Directorate which was recently criticised for failing to enforce the law.
