Police: Route 128 south closed from explosion

(NECN) - A tanker carrying more than 11,000 gallons of gasoline rolled over and burst into flames on Saturday morning on Route 128 in Needham, Massachusetts. State police say the driver of the truck, Kevin Power of Watertown, Massachusetts, swerved to avoid a large piece of metal in the road. The truck hit a guardrail and overturned and burst into flames. We have cell phone video shot by our Web Producer Larry Holmes on his way into our studios this morning. Power managed to get out of the truck and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. read more
