Police: Progress being made in Cooper investigation

(NECN: Cary, North Carolina) - Cary, North Carolina Police Chief Pat Bazemore says homicide investigators are making progress in the case of a slain jogger. The chief made her latest assessment Friday in what she said will be her last media briefing until an arrest is made. Brad Cooper told police he last saw his wife alive when she left their Cary home to go running Saturday morning. Nancy Cooper's body was found in a neighborhood about three miles from their house Monday night. read more
