POLICE: Community relations: Annual report says officers did not engage enough with minority groups

The Chief Constable of the British Transport Police has admitted the force's relations with different communities were not good enough before the London bombings in 2005. The annual report praises officers for their work around the attacks, but admits that until last July, they did not engage enough with minority groups. But Deputy Chief Constable Andy Trotter says progress has since been made.
