Podcast 4 - Lions of Moremi

From the Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana, this week, Brad Bestelink brings us footage of the Xakanaxa lion pride feeding on a recent elephant kill. The lions have begun to prey on young elephants largely as a result of the buffalo herds having moved out of the area. This has caused the desperate lions to begin actively hunting elephants, an uncommon and very interesting behavioural development. We then experience the lions lying under dark swollen rain clouds building over Moremi ahead of a welcome thunderstorm. And finally, Graham Springer brings us the pride resting against the backdrop of a beautiful Botswana sunset.
