Pirates release hijacked tanker

There has been a sharp rise in piracy in the region which threatens key oil shipping lanes. Foreign navies have rushed to the busy shipping routes to try and curb similar attacks which have over time brought pirates many millions of dollars in ransoms and caused shipping insurance costs to soar.
