PD: US Airways, Mays' death link pure speculation

(NECN/WTVT: Tampa, Fla.) - Tampa Police Department public information officer Laura McElroy called any hypothetical linkage of Saturday's airplane incident and the death of television pitchman Billy Mays speculation. McElroy made her comments during a Sunday afternoon media briefing. "There's no obvious sign of foul play. Trying to link Billy Mays' untimely death to the emergency landing of the US Airways flight would purely be speculation," McElroy said.
