A mother and father are opposing each other in a court case over whether life support for their severely-ill son should be turned off.The one-year-old boy has congenital myasthenic syndrome, which means he cannot breathe on his own.The child's mother says he suffers every day that he is kept alive, but his father wants doctors to carry out an operation that he thinks will improve his chances.Sophie Hutchinson reports.
