Parent of fallen veteran tries to pass new law
(NECN: Kristen Caira - Mansfield, MA) - Nearly a year after his death, there was a memorial mass for a fallen soldier from Mansfield, Massachusetts. Army Specialist Corey Shea died last November in Iraq. Shea is buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. His mother, Denise Anderson, is trying to get a new law passed in Congress so she can be buried next to her son. Right now, only children and spouses of the military can be interred with them in national cemeteries. NECN reporter Kristen Caira joins us from Mansfield with more.
