As Hamas declared it would demand the release of all Palestinian prisoners incarcerated in Israel in exchange for Gilad Schalit's freedom, the cabinet convened on Sunday to discuss the renewal of Egyptian mediated talks to bring Gilad home. Boosted by Israel's deal with Hizbullah in which the bodies of two IDF soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev were returned in exchange for the release of Samir Kuntar and four Hizbullah operatives and 200 bodies of Hizbullah fighters, Hamas leader in Gaza Ismail Haniya declared the deal had paved the way for Palestinian organizations to achieve their objectives.07/20/08
