Obama Bows to the King of Saudi Arabia, his Hero and Master? Not to Queen Elizabeth II

Who is this Obama guy? I know that he is our President, but does he hold any other allegiance? I mean he bowed to this man. To bow means: bend forward from the waist, as a signal of respect, greeting, consent, submission. It's that last word that I'm worried about, submission. Why is our President, the one who represents our country, bowing to this Arabic despot? Is there something about Obama that we don't know about? Who is he really? What is his past?
