Nicholson shows political colours

Hollywood veteran Jack Nicholson has apparently thrown his weight behind presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The actor has turned to the latest in viral web advertising to pledge his support to the former First Lady.A video clip featuring the star has appeared on YouTube and has been watched by more than a million viewers. It features a montage of Nicholson's most famous films, including Batman and A Few Good Men, and the 70-year-old can be seen saying "I'm Jack Nicholson and I approve this message" at the end.So as the race for the Democratic seat heats up, it looks like the candidates are not just depending on politics to gain them votes.Mrs Clinton's rival Barack Obama recently gained endorsements from media mogul Oprah Winfrey and music legend Stevie Wonder.© Independent Television News Limited 2008.
