After spending more than ten years in the spotlight, Britney Spears has again been immortalised in wax. London attraction Madame Tussauds said the new model was designed to show Spears at her glamorous, award-winning best, dressed to reflect her "sensational" comeback. The waxwork sports long tousled blonde hair and a plunging silver dress, clinging to her toned figure. Madame Tussauds spokeswoman Liz Edwards said the new wax figure marks Britney's transformation from schoolgirl to womanizer. "Britney Spears is in the middle of a huge comeback and we really wanted to celebrate that new comeback with her new album Circus, with her upcoming tour, and we wanted to do a Britney Spears figure that is truly representative of where she is today," she said. She recently released her sixth studio album Circus, which coincided with her 27th birthday. The new album was a follow-up to her album Blackout which wowed the critics against expectations due to her well-documented personal troubles. The singer is one of the top-selling artists of the last decade and has sold more than 62 million albums worldwide.
