Nearly 900 Palestinians dead
The Palestinian death toll since Israel's offensive began stands at 890, Gaza medical officials said. Nearly four thousand others have also been wounded in the conflict. On Monday (January 12, 2008) the UN relief agency reopened its aid distribution centre in Gaza after closing it citing dangerous conditions for their workers.
