NBC News Digital Chief: This is Our First "Two Screen" Election Night

Author: Added: 11/06/2008 Duration:297.4 http://www.beet.tv/2008/11/nbc-news-digita.html Tonight's election results will be the first time election results will be widely consumed on both television sets and computers, says NBC VP of Digital Media Mark Lukasiewicz, who spoke with me earlier today outside of the NBC News/MSNBC studios at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Mark explains the range of information on both the big screen and online. For the increasing number of consumers who consume videos only on their computers, MSNBC will be streaming its live network feed. We embedded the stream below. Actually, election results consumption will be a "three screen" experience with msnbc.com and many other news organization updating users via mobile handsets. Whoever wins the election, the media companies will have winning night, as Brian Stelter writes on The New York Times blog TV Decoder. --Andy Plesser, Executive Producer
