"An Introduction to Unfair Trade and its Effects on Ghanaian Communities". - How trade, agriculture and international financial institutions (IFIs) are linked with poverty in Africa and the developing world. A short documentary based around interviews with Mohammed Adam Nashiru, President of Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana; Bashiru Jumah, of SEND Foundation, Ghana; and Ghanaian farmers. Also features Ronan Keating and Nashiru at the London Trade Justice march in 2006, organised by the NGO Christian Aid ('Stop Paying for Poverty'). Includes a simple animated explanation of the basic mechanisms of unfair trade and its effect on those involved in farming, plus a look at how the IMF and World Bank may be part of the problem.
