The Dep. Chief of the Las Vegas Police responds to the allegations made by SGT Mark England. LVMPD has access to witness statements made by their own officers and TSA Officers, however the public does not. Based on those statements, Deputy Chief Suey claims that Sgt. England was not calm and was yelling and screaming throughout the process. She says that the SGT used profane language as well. Where the situation escalates is when the Metro cop asks for the SGT's boarding pass. The SGT pulls out a dollar bill. Both Metro and the SGT agree that the SGT asked the Metro cop to pick up the dollar bill. Where they deviate is that Deputy Chief Suey claims that the SGT was irate and angry while the SGT claims he spoke in a calm voice and was polite. Metro claims reason the beating took place (this does not show in this video) was because the SGT backed away when the Metro cop attempted to handcuff. In the video the Dep. Chief explains the taser was drawn because the SGT did not comply with the order to get on the floor, because after the beating, "he still wansn't complying." The taser was shot five times, with three times hitting the SGT. Suey ends with a highly opinionated closing. She explains seven metro officers are in Iraq. She presumes to speak for them by saying the behaviour of the SGT is not behaviour that a US soldier should be displaying. She claims that the SGT is using the Army Uniform as a soapboax. Great Affinity apologises if this description shows bias against the SGT, however because this video is all about Metro, its description also is all about Metro.
