
A memorial to the 52 people who died in four bombings across London will be unveiled in Hyde Park on Tuesday, four years to the day after the attacks.The 52 stainless steel pillars, one for each person who died, are anonymous, but are inscribed with the date, time and location of the bombings they represent.Architect Kevin Carmody said the concept was to symbolise "the single and collective loss of life".June Kelly reports.
