Meet Sammy Morris and his Family!

The other teams in the AFC probably wished Sammy Morris would have been out for just a few more weeks. No one wants to wish another bad health, but the star running back led the Pats to the last two victories since Sammy’s come back from a knee injury, which brings me full circle to my opening remark. He is a PLAY MAKER and is now nominated for the FED EX GROUND Award on www.NFL.com along side Adrian Peterson and Micheal Turner. Please go cast your vote for Sammy Morris! But to know Sammy the man and his family is to know a class act through and through. On a recent sunny day in an upscale Dallas suburb park I caught up with Patriot’s running back Sammy Morris and his beautiful wife Leslie who’s an accomplished competitive body builder in her own right. What better place than a park to also get to know the Morris kids, Kiera the eldest followed by Jayden, the bright middle child, and bringing up the rear, but with more charm than the legal limit allows is, Sammy Jr, who at 5, is already charming his way to stardom. In my visit with these two Texas Tech alumni, I discovered Sammy and Leslie to be very warm and open about their life and the trials and tribulations of maintaining a happy family and marriage and a successful career as an NFL pro running back. They also reveal the secret to their matrimonial bliss. Sammy also took a few moments to show me a couple of playing tips for applying the “Stiff/Straight Arm” on opposing players.
