McFly make their own luck

McFly make their own luck

Boy band McFly have taken a step into the movie world by wowing fans at the UK premiere of their first cinema outing, Just My Luck. The foursome play themselves in the comedy which also stars Lindsay Lohan as a young professional just out of college, who has led a charmed life but takes her good fortune for granted. All of that changes when she kisses a handsome stranger, played by Chris Pine, at a fancy dress party and swaps her good luck with his bad fortune, turning her life into a living hell. McFly drummer Harry Judd has been linked with Lindsay ever since filming but her publicity people have claimed the rumours are simply a publicity stunt for the film. The movie, from How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days director Donald Petrie, features several songs by McFly. The four band members - Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter - were a hit with fans outside the Vue Cinema in London's Leicester Square ahead of the film's premiere, last night. Jodie Marsh was also among the celebrities who turned up on the red carpet, wearing a typically revealing cowboy outfit. The film opens nationwide on June 30.
