Marine Specialised Technology Limited was founded in 2001 by three of the most respected commercial RIB builders in the United Kingdom and their craft have quickly become favoured by professional operators around the world for their durability, dependability and attention to detail. As well as a standard range of commercial RIB's and high speed workboats in both aluminium and GRP composites, MST also develop and manufacture custom designed craft for specific requirements. Based in Liverpool, England, MST is situated on the waterfront with a dedicated boat assembly workshop and full yard facilities. MST concentrates on the development, design, and final assembly of their craft with major components subcontracted under the close supervision of MST's experienced project managers. This allows MST to concentrate on "what it does best" and benefit from the vast range of specialised skills offered by other companies "doing what they do best". These range from advanced composite moulders to aerospace grade fabricators. This approach necessitates projects to be fully designed before any manufacturing commences and this is aided by the use of highly sophisticated full 3-dimensional computer aided engineering software enabling the drawing office to fully develop concepts before they leave the computer screen. MST works closely with the client during a project to ensure they are actively involved in the production of their craft recognising the importance of thoroughly understanding of how and where the craft will be operated and for what purpose. Typical applications include law enforcement, naval, rescue, patrol and special operations.
