Many killed in Afghan explosion
Officials in Afghanistan say at least 25 people have been killed in an explosion on a truck to the south of the capital, Kabul.They said a number of schoolchildren and four police officers were among those killed.The blast happened as the officers examined the truck, which had crashed near local schools.Police said it was carrying explosives which may have been destined for an insurgent attack in Kabul.Jane Bennett-Powell reports.
