A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the murder of schoolgirl Milly Dowler. A man from west London voluntarily attended a police station earlier. He is being questioned about the possible disposal of a red Daewoo Nexia car, which police believe may have been used to transport the 13-year-old's body. Amanda Dowler, who was known to family and friends as Milly, vanished while walking home from school in Walton-on-Thames on March 21, 2002. Six months later, her remains were found 30 miles away in Yateley Heath, Hampshire. Her death remains one of Britain's most notorious unsolved crimes. Earlier this month, divers searched Bedford Lake, near London's Heathrow Airport, for the Daewoo Nexia but said they found "nothing of any relevance".
