
On 27 Dec 1998, the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team and Quality Foods, USA, made a 111.42m 365ft 7in long cheese and steak sandwich from one continuous length of bread. A 370ft long brick oven was built to bake the bread. The ingredients included 96lbs onions, 28lbs mushrooms, 9lbs tomatoes, 4lbs lettuce, 1lb of potatoes, 1lb bacon, 37lbs peppers, 112lbs of cheese, 475lbs steak and 1,000lbs of bread. Including sauce, the total weight was 1,790lbs.
