Emmerdale star Adele Silva is taking a break from soapland to explore her options. After cooking up a storm and winning the hearts of the viewers to come second in Celebrity Hell's Kitchen, the TV star has reportedly been flooded with offers of work. But for those who are fans of Adele's loudmouth character Kelly Windsor, the actress has insisted that she is only on a break from the show after Emmerdale bosses asked her not to leave permanently."Whilst I haven't got a family and children to support, now is the time to go and see what's out there and maybe do some travelling," she said.Adele said she had been offered several reality TV roles in the past, including a stint in Celebrity Midwives, but when the opportunity to star in Hells Kitchen came along she simply couldn't turn it down."When Hell's Kitchen came in, I thought you couldn't pay to be taught to cook by Marco Pierre White for 17 days... it was an amazing experience," Adele said. The starlet went a full 15 rounds with former boxer Barry McGuigan, but in the end she reckons it was taking part that counted."Barry was one of the nicest guys... and in the end it wasn't like a competition and he was so nice that I wanted him to win."© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
