X factor winner Leona Lewis has secured a £5 million record deal in the US.The London-born singer has signed up with Clive Davis, the man behind Whitney Houston and she celebrated by wowing US music executives at a showcase, singing Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word, Over The Rainbow and Summertime.She will release five albums worldwide on the label J Records.But Simon Cowell will still guide her career and he says he is planning to make her an international star.Leona is due to start recording material in America in May.The X Factor winner's debut single, which is a cover of previous American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson, became the fastest-selling download of 2006.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
