Lebanese Prime Minister Declares Winograd Proves That Israel Is Preparing For Another War

The Arab world wasted no time in responding to the Winograd Commission’s final report. On Thursday Lebanese Prime Mnister Fuad Siniora claimed the report calls for Israel to prepare for the next war which proves that it has not learned from its defeat. A statement issued by the Lebanese prime minister declared that the Lebanese people are united and capable of repelling an Israeli offensive. Siniora added that the report ignores the crimes Israel committed against his own country, The Lebanese chief of staff said the report showed that Israel admitted to initiating the war. Just hours after the publishing of the report findings Hizbullah declared that it proved that Israel suffered a defeat at the hands of Hizbullah and only confirmed what was already clear that Israel had failed to achieve its goals.01/31/08
