Lady Margaret Thatcher was guest of honour at the opening of a new exhibition charting the events of the Cold War at the Royal Air Force Museum in Shropshire. The display at RAF Cosford is housed in a purpose-built hall and tells the story of the era from national, international, and social, political and cultural perspectives. Exhibits range from postcards sent across the borders of Berlin, to lifesize Russian dolls and military hardware such as Britain's three V-Bombers - the Vulcan, Victor and Valiant.
