Ladder truck crashes into Boston building; firefighter dead

(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - A fire truck crashed into a brick building at 835 Huntington Avenue this afternoon, killing one firefighter and injuring three others. This took place in a building near the Mission Park MBTA station. The fire truck hit two other parked cars. There were children on the first floor inside the building when the truck crashed. There is an early learning center on the first floor. None of the children were injured, but they were shaken up and taken to area hospitals as a precaution. read more
