Kiyan accused due in court

Kiyan accused due in court

A 16-year-old boy is due to appear in court charged with the murder of schoolboy Kiyan Prince. Fifteen-year-old Kiyan, of Bellamy Close, Edgware, died after a single stab wound to the chest outside the gates of his northwest London school on Thursday afternoon. The teenager accused of the murder will appear at Brent Magistrates Court. Kiyan was stabbed in front of horrified staff and pupils at the London Academy in Edgware while trying to break up a fight. A youth was seen running away towards Salisbury Court, a nearby block of flats. Kiyan was a promising footballer and a member of Queens Park Rangers' youth squad. As a mark of respect, black armbands were worn by Watford and Leeds players at yesterday's Coca-Cola Championship play-off final.
