Katherine Jenkins on Britain's Got Talent's Faryl Smith

Opera star Katherine Jenkins has been mentoring Britain's Got Talent contender Faryl Smith. The 13-year-old mezzo-soprano won praise after appearing in the second series of the ITV1 talent show. Jenkins performed with the young singer and was so impressed she took her under her wing, offering advice on how to handle stardom as well as recording tips. The Welsh star said: "She's 13 going in 30, isn't she? She's so mature. "But in some way that's a good thing, because it's difficult when you start to become famous. "She's going to be travelling around the world, and she's a clever girl. She's smart and that's good to see."
