Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is expected to arrive in Vietnam to adopt a three-year-old boy.Local officials are said to be fast tracking her bid partly due to her fame and because the boy is older than most adopted children. If everything goes to plan the star could have custody of the little boy by the end of the week.Angelina has applied for the adoption without boyfriend Brad Pitt as the country's laws makes the process harder for unmarried couples. The boy is thought to currently live in the Tam Bin Orphanage in the capital Ho Chi Minh City. The director of the orphanage, Nguyen Van Trung, said: "She filed the adoption papers to the Ministry of Justice in January. The papers got down here in February. As a normal procedure, it will be completed by the end of March. If it is any faster, it is only about ten days earlier than usual."He added: "As soon as the document is signed by the authority, we will invite her over to complete the procedure and to hand her the child."Once she receives the child, Angelina has to meet with US consular officials, before a passport can be issued for the boy.The Hollywood couple already have two adoptive children - son Maddox from Cambodia and daughter Zahara from Ethiopia and one biological child, Shiloh Nouvel who was born last year.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
