Jimmy Carr gives advice to wannabe comedians

Jimmy Carr advises wannabe comedians to get out and see lots of stand-up. The funnyman has been a successful comedian for the last ten years and he reckons it's important to be a fan first, before trying to do it yourself. '' It starts with the big shows and then you go to tiny little clubs above pubs where people are doing new act nights, and when you go to them twice a week then you are ready to give it a go.'' Jimmy's new DVD 'Telling Jokes' is out at the start of November.
