by Pastor Peter J. Peters Jesus made it clear when He said, “Truly I say to you unless you are converted and become like children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3). Children have no problems believing in magic. Perhaps that’s why the Harry Potter books are the best selling of children’s books. Children have always loved fairy tales because they are of magic, magicians, witches, spells, etc. There is a hidden agenda behind the great selling books about Harry Potter. It is sold as fiction and marketed as fiction, but the truth is magic is not fiction. The Harry Potter books have and “F” on the spine for it to stand as fiction (i.e. not true), but the truth is magic truly does exist and truly does work. That’s the same satanic plot of Satan behind all those Disneyland fairytale cartoons; they are used to make us think it’s all just a fairy tale. That is the hidden satanic purpose behind magic shows or magic acts as they are called. A more modern day term for a magician is “illusionist.” The hidden agenda of Satan is to make people believe it’s all an act; it’s all an illusion. In other words, today the majority of the population just does not believe in magic, does not believe magic exists, does not believe that the magic works, even though there is a phrase well familiar to them “works like magic.” And even though the Bible teaches there is such a thing as magic and that magic works. Except we become like a child, we cannot have the Kingdom. A child has no problem believing in magic. The problem with God’s people today is they have lost their child-like faith and thus do not really believe their Bible. It’s a magic spell or the deceptive sorcery of Babylon (Revelation 18:23). They don’t even believe there really are such things as witches, though the Bible teaches there are; see Deuteronomy 18:16 and Exodus 22:18 (and even though their country is full of them, full of witchcraft organizations, witchcraft books, etc).
