Jenna Bush and Henry Hager tie the knot

Jenna Bush and Henry Hager tie the knot

Hi, it's Monday, May 12, 2008 and I'm Melisse Hinkle with your UPI Entertainment Update. Jenna Bush is now a married woman. The first daughter exchanged vows with Henry Hager this weekend at the president's ranch in Crawford, Texas. She walked down the aisle in an embroidered Oscar de la Renta gown. The wedding colors were apparently chosen to match the blues and greens of the Texas landscape. Jenna's twin sister, Barbara, was the maid of honor and Hager's brother, John, stood as the best man. President Bush and the bride reportedly chose the song "You Are So Beautiful" for their father-daughter dance. "Iron Man" is topping box offices for the second week in a row. Robert Downey Jr. stars in the film, which has reportedly taken in more than $177 million in ticket sales so far. New release, "Speed Racer," starring Emile Hirsch sits at No. 2 and "What Happens in Vegas" with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher takes the No. 3 spot during its opening weekend. That's all according to Box Office Mojo. Paul McCartney and Heather Mills are moving closer to an official divorce. That's according to People magazine. A London High Court has granted the pair a preliminary divorce. British law now forces them to wait six weeks and one day until their marriage can come to a close. The decree brings Mills one step closer to the $48.6 million settlement she is set to receive. Family and friends are defending David Archuleta's dad whose backstage pass was reportedly revoked. The "American Idol" contestant's father, Jeff, apparently tried to modify his son's version of "Stand By Me" last week by adding in a verse from the Sean Kingston song "Beautiful Girls." Producers were opposed to the change and Archuleta's father is now forced to sit in the audience. But the performer's voice coach, David Kaelin, tells People magazine that Jeff Archuleta is only banned from arranging sessions. Kaelin says it's not a punishment. Stars stepped out this weekend for the 15th annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk for Women. Actress Halle Berry spoke at the event, while other stars like Tom Selleck and Carrie Ann Inaba came out to support the runners and walkers. Singer Melissa Manchester also debuted her new song, "Power of Ribbons." The event supports women's cancer research. That's all for now. Tune in tomorrow for another UPI Entertainment Update. Thanks so much for watching.
