"Seth was diagnosed with JD at the age of 2; he has been on the pump since he was 5, and right now he is having trouble with it and is just fed up with checking his sugar daily and all the needles, etc..." Many children are diagnosed with JD every day, but thanks to the JDRF, and those who support their efforts, these children are afforded the chance to better manage their health. Seth is the grandson of Kasha Petrea, owner of Action Bookkeeping & Tax Service, located in Cheektowaga, NY. Every year, Kasha does a fundraising event in an effort to help her grandson, and this year she has raised $700.00 selling "sneakers" & tickets to win a specially made basket of goodies, supplied by many of her friends & clients! The lucky winner of this year's drawing (shown in the video) is Kelly Finn of Buffalo, NY! Yayyy!!! Congratualtions Kelly Finn!!! Thank all of you who donated towards the basket, and those of you who bought "sneakers" and tickets. A special thanks to YOU, Kasha, for your continued efforts in raising awareness and funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation! You are an Angel :)
