Former Major Leaguer Jay Gibbons hits his second Home Run of the game against the Camden River Sharks on June 30th, 2008. Gibbons was named in the "Mitchell Report" for steroid use and human growth hormones. He is looking to catch on with a Major League team. He recently sent a letter to each of the 30 MLB teams. Here is part of the letter. ""Writing this letter is both painful and humiliating. It has been almost six weeks since my release from the Orioles and I am still unable to land any opportunity at a second chance to play the game that I love. I am young, healthy and determined. I have acknowledged and apologized for the mistake that I made and writing this letter should be proof enough that I have indeed suffered for my mistake."" As much as I hate those cheaters there are some that seem remorseful and have admitted their mistake. Maybe Gibbons is one of them.
