Jamie Archer on new best mate Simon Cowell

Another massive TV audience witnessed the latest eviction from The X Factor as Rock singer Jamie Archer received fewest public votes. Archer and Lloyd Daniels were in the bottom two for the sing-off but once again the judges' bench was split and the decision went to Deadlock. Jamie was not surprised to have been in the bottom two however, knowing that other acts had bigger fan bases. Despite run-ins with his mentor Simon Cowell throughout the series Jamie applauded him for his support and their "healthy" disputes. The singer, famed for his afro haircut, said he had achieved all he had wanted from the show and now looked forward to the opportunities it would open for him. On the subject of Jedward however, he believes they deserve all the success they have got and believes they could go all the way, despite backing his fellow Over-25s Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs to take victory.
