ITALY: Giorgio Armani dresses are carefully lifted out of a van and carried into the Hotel Hassler where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are expected to stay prior to their wedding

Tom Cruise was keeping a low profile in Rome on Tuesday (November 14) but behind the scenes preparations for his wedding with Katie Holmes expected on the 18th November were certainly well underway. No one has seen the 'Mission Impossible' star since his arrival in the Italian capital on Monday (November 13) but there was an additional flurry of activity outside his hotel on Tuesday morning as Giorgio Armani dresses were carefully lifted out of a van and carried into the Hotel Hassler. The Hollywood couple are tipped to have chosen a 15th century castle just outside of Rome as the location for the celebrity wedding and Giorgio Armani has been asked to design Holmes' wedding gown. But it was impossible to get a sneak preview of the dress - the three garments were safely hidden in black covers with the words Prive (private) and Giorgio Armani written on the front.
